Metal Slug: Awakening is conducting an alpha test in the Philippines and Indonesia

VNG Games has announced that Metal Slug: Awakening, the latest release in the series Metal Slug will now be having its second Alpha Test phase in the Philippines and Indonesia. The game had a fairly successful first alpha test back in July 2022, this second phase is a sign that the game is getting responses in numbers expected by the developers and will soon be gearing toward a release.

The new alpha test aims at disclosing more information and getting fans aware of the features of the new game. With all these smooth alpha tests it is fair to say that the game is seeing a smooth round of development and the official release for the game might come in sooner than expected.
"Filipino gamers from Alpha Test 1 (Ran in July 2022) helped us to map out this new version of the game and we cannot wait to get feedback from the Philippine gaming community. Testers can look forward to testing new features like the 'Clone Master' (a.k.a. Guild Boss Raid)," said Maricar Cacnio, Operations Lead of VNG Philippines.
The game was announced for mobiles back in 2021, since then the fans of the game have appreciated the concept of the game and have responded back in numbers making the previous alpha tests successful. The game is reportedly having only 4,000 slots available for each country on a first-account-created, first-served basis.
The Alpha tests will be available to be accessed only via Android devices through Google Play in the Philippines and Indonesia. Interested fans of the game can access the Discord channel along with the official website of the game and the official Facebook Page of the game to stay updated with the new updates following the release of Metal Slug: Awakening.
